Origin

The first version of cafetière was developed in his rudimentary form in France essentially made of metal alloy, however it was patented during 1929 by italians Attilio Calimani and Giulio Moneta, but it started to be popular in Europe by House Articles Co. Cafetière has been named in many ways depending on the local culture (example: French press, coffee plunger, coffee press).
